I am a father of 3yrs old daughter and i am an NRE who is working in KSA, I decided to send my family back to india in mumbai for my daughter’s better education, we have a resident at poonam sagar comlex in mira road. In the month of Feb 1st week i sarted cheking good school for my daughter’s admissiion and hear few names in mira road of which one is Holy Cross Convet, i called Holy cross C and speak with one of teacher or incharge and give my intro i ask is it possible to seek admission in your school 1st of all she dinied to say anything and said come and chek the notice board, but later on she helped me by giving information about the dates of form to be distribute on 20 Feb 11. I also informed her that we live in Poonam Sagar comlex she said ok bring all necessary documents , i intrupted her saying my child would acompanied with her mother as i may not able to come in india, she said ok . Howver on 20Feb11 they went in morning and found long queue and got the token between 500-600 as submission number , after all document were in proper order and my duaghter’s admission form was finally submitted sucessfully and we were (all parents) asked to wait untill 24Mar11 till they put the names of selected candidates on the notice board.
Unfortunately my daugter’s name was not appearing in the selected list, on inquiring the security donot let meet principal or any other staff as i finally called up to chek why this happend. Inspite of calling several day i found a lady on the phone who denied giving her identity saying she wont give her name to me, so i ask her we submitted admission form for my daughter and i am calling from overseas to chek this, within no second she asked me where do you live here mira road, I answered Poonam Sagar comlex, on which she replied we donot entertain any pupil or form from Poonam Sagar Comlex Residents, I asked Why?… She said ” This Is Our Rule by The Management Commitee” so i am sorry and disconected my phone.
I want to know when you already aware of that you will disappoint the parents satying Poonam sagar Comlex and nearby other areas then, why you ditribute your admission form to us to play with our emotions, patients,disgraceness. Or is it though i am a Muslim by religion inspite thought to put my ward in Chistian school whoes moto is to educate more nobar of relgion and race. The school not conducting interviews thats good but atleast must meet the candidate (child) seeking admission who could be a desrving child for the required said class. This is injustice i would request my fellow parents and NGO to please help us as this has happend to me today, but there may be many like me who are going through these injustice, unfair, negligence and racism where they may have thought we are helpless and cannot stand against such pathetic phenomena of rejecting admission even if you are desrving. I will raise my voice to gather my fellow brothers and sister who are victims of such school’s policies,Please come together for mankind.
