My name is Amit Chakraborty, I am residing presently at kolkata came to know from Quickr.com that kolkata metro is recruiting candidates for various posts through this (fake) consulting firm. When I contacted to their office, one of the employee picked up the call and asked me to come for the interview round at their Ranaghat office. In the interview round I was informed that I do not need to pay anything There I was charged of Rs. 500 as a registration fees and they gave me a mobile number to contact for the details of the joining procedure. As I called them up, a female picked up the phone and asked me deposit Rs 4500 as a training fee assuring me that again (I do not need to pay any amount after depositing the training charges.) Believing the allurements and inducements, they convinced me to pay that amount. This time they provided me a posting letter, by saying that this number belongs to the HR head of Kolkata Metro Recruitment Board. I was asked again to call up this number for the offer letter and joining place confirmation. I called up the number as I was surprised to hear as they again asked me to deposit a sum of 18000 to complete the joining process. By this time, when I refused to pay that amount, they used slang languages and told me if don’t pay the amount my candidature will get rejected. By now, I got to know, Like me, there are several other candidates who has fallen in to the prey of these frauds. They are simply raising the money with fake recruitment advertisements and making fool to the innocent candidates.
I am going to sue an G.D against these people with the evidence tomorrow and it is my earnest request to the concerned authority to do something needful as they are just nothing but frauds. It is also a scam job offer to the candidates and hence it should be stopped with immediate effect.
I will be highly obliged if my complain is going to make any changes. Strict legal action should be taken against these fraudsters .
