I cancelled a ticket with reference no. carrier – air india, pnr yb70f, sector – bhopal – london – bhopal on the 2nd of april 2020 and got a confirmation from both airlines and akbar travels regarding cancellation. I had to bear charges on my own for the cancellations as per airlines/akbar travels policy. I was intimated both through email and the customer care of akbar travels that the refund will be credited to my account within 15 days from the date of cancellation. Its been 20 days now and i have not yet recieved any credit. On the other side, i receievd my refund credits from both makemytrip and easymytrip within 10 days from cancellation for other flights that i booked. Akbar travels is not responding properly to our calls and email and neither refundding the amount. They just inform that the refund is under process. I have both mail copy and call recording with the customer care excecutives that the refund will be credited to my account within 15 days then why such delay. Please processthe refund without any further delay immediately.
