On April 28 I met a clientele agent in Upington on the street who asked me if I was interested in a clientele policy. I said no. So he asked if they can call me to tell me more about their products so I agreed. They never called me, but on the same day I received messages saying that I joined clientele and that I’m supposed to pay on the 23th of each month. The agent asked for my bank card just to check if I qualify. I never gave clientele permission to debit money from my bank account. So today I borrowed money from a friend of mine to buy food because I’m unemployed. As soon as the money was in my bank account clientele deducted R321.00 from my account without my consent. I never signed anything with them. Because I’m unemployed I never could call them back to asked about the messages. I spoke to a consultant today and the policy was cancelled but they didn’t refund my money. Instead she told me a still need to pay for June. For what? I need that money back because I still have to pay it back to my friend and I’m unemployed. Please resolve this matter for me as soon as possible.
