I got trapped by a fraud call stating that “i am calling from hdfc bank card and since you have premium customer so you are selected for offers from hdfc credit card. You will be provided with discount card of 30%, health voucher, holiday voucher and rs 3000 money return on producing the food bill, gift voucher, ucb watch etc.”. I have been asked to give my card details and i was charged 8490/-.
Now when i received the kit, it has two first copy duplicates o[censored]cb watch and wallet. The discount card is very tedious to use. You have to buy coupons with the help of that card based on your bill at different stores. When i checked for this pathetic process with genesis then they said that it was for feedback purpose only.
While availing travel packages, you need to pay rs.499 dd for each package (998 for 2) and still you will get 3rd class hotels. They will provide hotels that comes under rs. 3000 for 5 days (Rs. 500-600 per day). You can check hotel reviews online. Also, they will give the bookings 2 days before journey so beware to plan for international or some faraway places. Pathetic service.
The rs. 3000 food bill reimbursement is actually rs 2600 as they mentioned to me that they deducted rs 200/package as per terms and conditions.
So, overall i paid rs. 9888 to them plus the headache and time to deal with them
Its a fraud scheme to loot customers and give pathetic services.
Bad part on the credit card companies to share our details with these frauds.
Kindly look into the matter and take action against these offenders.
